UDINE ROLLER FEST (URF) it’s a show that is fully dedicated to the roller world, organized by A.S.D. Roller Evolution. It takes place every year in Udine.

The URF consists mainly of 2 events

UDINE ROLLER: skating on the streets of the city!

The “zero impact” town route: skating along Udine streets for about 15km to celebrate the World Environment Day, proving that we can pursue a sustainable mobility. The track changes every year.

This is a non-competitive event and is suitable for people of all ages, including beginners, providing they are capable of braking without assistance.

Assistance: there will be experienced skating staff along the track. Medical assistance will be provided and a van will follow the group to provide assistance should you have problems with your skates or need a ride.

ROLLER FEST: races and demonstrations of vairous roller disciplines

The event consists of a wide range of activities. Some of these are:

Roller Cross
Roller aerobics
InLine Hockey
FreeStyle Slalom
Alpine InLine Slalom
High Jump
Roller Dance

Why this event

  • Promote inline skates as a means of social interaction, healty sport and zero-impact transport (skate tourism)
  • Raise public awarness on the issues of sustainable mobility, also with aternative ways, like inline skates. In the main european towns, they are already used to move in and out of the cities.

 

Who can join

  • UDINE ROLLER: Skaters of any age as long as they can stop on skates. Bicycles can ride along behind the skaters.
  • ROLLER FEST: this is a show for anyone, families or inline skating fans

Council of Udine, youth affairs of Udine Council, WWF Friuli-Venezia Giulia, FIHP Skating Federation Friuli-Venezia Giulia

The event will be joined not only by people of our Region but also by people from Central and Northern Italy. We have quite a few contacts with Italian skating groups.
During the last editions a few skating groups from Slovenia and Austria joined as well.
